These aspen shavings are made from 100-percent natural aspen wood. Kiln dried and virtually dust and scent-free, aspen hardwood shavings are hypoallergenic and do not contain potentially harmful aromatic oils. Aspen shavings are ideal to use when there is concern that your small pet may have respiratory and skin sensitivities. Highly-absorbent aspen shavings can absorb up to four times its weight in moisture, inhibiting the growth of mold, fungus and bacteria; keeping your small pets environment safe, clean and dry.
